The Steinberg Institute logo utilizes the typeface Univers through a license at MyFonts.com. Univers was designed by Adrian Frutiger and published by Linotype. Univers contains 27 styles and family package options, but The Steinberg Institute brand utilizes only the 57 Condensed and 67 Bold Condensed styles. These two type styles should be utilized across all Steinberg Institute print media.
The website utilizes the Google Font named Open Sans, a humanist sans serif typeface designed by Steve Matteson, Type Director of Ascender Corp. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms. Where use of Univers is not practical, Open Sans should be used in its place.
