The Steinberg Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Tai Batov as Fundraising Manager.
Tai is a bilingual professional with a diverse background in the human services sector as a fundraiser, program manager, and project manager. For the last decade, she has worked in a range of nonprofit roles, starting in direct service and later finding fulfillment in development.
Tai joins our Director of Strategic Partnerships, Jason Shoultz, to ensure the Steinberg Institute has the necessary support to carry out our recently announced Vision 2030 initiative, focused on ending the cycle of homelessness, incarceration and hospitalization for people living with mental illness and addiction challenges, and ensuring a behavioral health workforce that meets California’s diverse needs.
Prior to joining the Steinberg Institute, Tai was Partnerships Coordinator for Unity Care Group, a nonprofit supporting young people in foster care, by providing housing, connections and life skills.
“We’re thrilled to bring Tai’s expertise and passion for service to the Steinberg Institute,” said CEO Karen Larsen. “We have ambitious plans for the future which require a secure financial foundation.”
